Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 10 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 5 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1.25 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1.5 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Directions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Stir in the smoked paprika and Italian seasoning, then add the whole milk, Velveeta cheese, and cream cheese. Cook and stir until the cheeses melt into a creamy mixture.
- Gently fold in the cooked spaghetti, followed by 1 cup of sharp cheddar and 0.75 cups of mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine everything.
- Transfer this creamy beef and spaghetti mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Dot the top with the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter for extra richness.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until it bubbles up and turns golden brown on top. Serve it hot and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
Notes & Variations 📝
- Feel free to add veggies like spinach or bell peppers to sneak in some greens!
- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic when you sauté the onion.
- Swap out the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days—just reheat in the oven or microwave!
